Deepsea Challenger, 126067
Rolex has always been closely linked to the world of diving, from the first submariner in 1953 and then the Deepsea in 1967 all the way through to present day, Every now and again Rolex will produce a piece that is a technical exercise , proof of what is possible...mostly they never make it to even a limited production run...
Not so in 2023, Rolex surprised us all with the Rolex Deepsea challenge, a titanium reinvention of the 2012 experimental release that famously went to the bottom of the Mariana Trench with director James Cameron, now cast in RLX titanium saving weight and making it stronger than its steel predecessor.
Inside the titanium case houses a 3230 superlative chronometer with +2/-2 seconds a day accuracy and helium escape valve.
This 126067 is a 50mm diameter monster with a doorstep thickness of 23mm, designed for the most arduous of underwater environments, perhaps not daily wear for most normal sized humans, it’s certainly one for the collectors. The smart money would be on relatively short production cycle.
Our 2023 126067 presents in unworn condition with factory stickers still present, Rolex warranty card, booklets, tags and special edition Rolex box.
