It would be 8 years of painstaking work creating a never seen before electro mechanical quartz movement that satisfied the master watchmakers expectations, capable of going into standby mode when not in use, sensing movement and setting itself to the correct time, giving an estimated 8 years of life to the battery with daily wear or 18 years in standby mode.
Not only was the movement something never seen before the shape was an innovation and it proved popular amongst it's female target audience. Challenged by a friend to recreate the elegant for a male audience, Francois set out making a bigger more rugged version, the Elegante 48mm in titanium was born. Durable, lightweight while carrying all the original features owners enjoyed.
Our 2022 Elegante is brand new and unworn, presented as a full set, with 2022 dated warranty card, book pack and original FP Journe box. Further Enhanced by the original International warranty until 2027.
