The 1908 refers to the year the rolex trademark was registered in Switzerland and heralds the arrival of a completely new collection from Rolex.
Reference 52508-002 is an all new model with traditional watch making at its heart, cast in 18kt yellow gold and spanning 39mm in diameter, the domed and fluted bezel is elegant and understated, the intense black dial with white and gold elements give an understated finish.
The beating heart of any Swiss watch is the movement and Rolex doesn’t disappoint, the 7140 calibre movement is made entirely in house and visible through the sapphire crystal open case-back, boasting a 66 hour power reserve and superlative chronometer status.
