With a cult like following, the all green Submariner quickly earned the nickname Hulk after its launch in 2010. The reference 116610LV marked the first time Rolex paired a green dial with a matching green bezel, building on the earlier 2003 anniversary Submariner, the 16610LV Kermit, which featured a green bezel with a black dial.

The Hulk arrived during a turning point for the Submariner line. Rolex had begun introducing ceramic bezels in 2008, and by 2010 the 116610LV combined a green ceramic bezel, sunburst green dial and the broader Maxi case. It was a bold look for such a classic model and while opinions were mixed at first, the watch soon developed a loyal following.

Across its decade long production run the formula remained largely unchanged, with only minor dial text variations and small updates to the rehaut engraving. When Rolex discontinued the Hulk in 2020 demand quickly surged, and strong examples with full sets are becoming increasingly difficult to source as the finite supply continues to shrink.

Our 2018 116610LV is supplied in excellent condition with light signs of wear, but no signs of polishing. The watch is offered as a complete set with a 2018 dated warranty card, both tags, booklets, and original Rolex box.
